Hello and welcome to the Ultimate Travel Bucket List!
A list of everything there is to see and do in every country in the world! Yup, this is by far the most complete travel bucket list out there.

I consider myself an explorer, a photographer, and an adventurer. From an early age, all I wanted was to see everything there is in the world. Recently, I decided to check out what does everything really means, so I researched every single country in the world and created this ultimate Travel Bucket List. It took me many months to gather all those bucket list ideas, and It’s going to take me years to complete it, but I’m up to the challenge.

Let’s make something straight now. My list may be the most complete out there but it’s certainly not set in stone. Being on the journey to conquest all of the adventures, I’m pretty sure I’ll find many more bucket list-worthy places and experiences. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

– It’s a bucket list since you want to complete the items on it before you kick the bucket.

Do I need a bucket list?
– Everybody needs a bucket list. Since there are many distractions in our everyday lives, it’s easy to forget our dreams and goals. However, if our aspirations are carefully compiled into a physical (or virtual) list, there is less chance to be overlooked. It’s a universal human trait to try and finish every list we’ve made, and what’s a better list to complete than the list of your dreams?

Just like every person is unique, so is every bucket list. And while I can’t advise you how to earn more money or find true love, I can share my own travel bucket list ideas and hopefully induce a little wanderlust and inspiration.

The African Travel Bucket List

Out of all continents, Africa has the highest number of countries – 54. This, however, doesn’t mean it has the highest number of bucket list ideas. With its 304 adventures, it ranks third among the most exciting continents out there. It’s worth mentioning that almost every country has an incredible national park (or a few of them). Since I didn’t want to have ‘go on a safari’ for every African country, though I cherry-picked only the best.

From the legendary Sahara Desert in the north through the tropical rainforest in the middle and the merciless savanna in the south, the Africa travel bucket list is mostly centered around nature and wildlife. Having also all-time favorite landmarks like the Giza Pyramids and Kilimanjaro, the African travel bucket list ideas are among the ones I’m anticipating the most!

The Asian Travel Bucket List

The world’s biggest continent does not disappoint. With 550 bucket list ideas spread around 44 countries, Asia wins the prize for the most exciting continent on my list. Having three heavyweights with over 50 bucket list ideas each (China, Japan, and India) complemented by the popular Southeast Asia region and the mystical Orient, the Asia travel bucket list ideas are also the most diverse on the list.

We’ve got authentic cultures, unique landmarks, breath-taking nature, unique wildlife, marvels of human engineering, and one-of-a-kind experiences (I’m looking at you, scorpion on a stick).

The European Travel Bucket List

Ahhh, Europe – the cradle of modern society, the birthplace of explorers and artists, the land of a thousand different cultures. With 499 bucket list ideas, Europe is the second most exciting continent on my travel bucket list.

Considering the fact that Asia is just about four times bigger, we can safely say that Europe is the bucket list-idea densest continent.

Overflowing with history, it’s not surprising that most of the European bucket list ideas are culture-centered. Toping the list (by far) for iconic cities, museums, landmarks, unique cuisines, and cozy old towns, Europe is THE place for history buffs, architecture enthusiasts, fashion gurus, art lovers, and foodies. If anything, Europe has so many must-see places that making an itinerary is a true struggle.

Featuring some of the world’s safest countries, the European travel bucket list would be the most risk-free to complete, but certainly won’t be the cheapest.

The South American Travel Bucket List

South America has only 118 travel bucket list ideas, but considering the fact, there are just 12 countries there, the number is not that bad. Brazil (19) and Peru (19) are the South America Bucket List leaders, having not only the most adventures but also housing the most popular ones like the Carnival in Rio and Machu Picchu.

The bucket list adventures and landmarks I’m most eager to do here are exploring the remote and extremely unique Easter Island in Chile and the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador (Hello, sucker for wildlife here).

Bucket List Ideas in Oceania

Oceania has the least amount of travel bucket list ideas (93) out there (besides Antarctica), but I don’t think the area is dull. Most of the bucket list adventures and landmarks are concentrated in Australia (21) and New Zealand (13), with the other countries (that are mostly small island nations) having just a few. I believe the issue is that most of those islands have not been fully explored, and there are plenty of Oceania bucket list ideas waiting to be found.

With the unique Australian wildlife, the indigenous tribes in Papua, and the hundreds of white tropical beaches, I believe I will have tons of fun completing my Oceania travel bucket list!

The Arctic Travel Bucket List

The 7th continent may has only nine bucket list ideas, but it’s my biggest travel goal. It’s the hardest one to explore, incredibly expensive and unimaginably cold (and I really really hate cold ), but still… no other place on earth can rival the incredible raw wilderness of Antarctica.

I firmly believe that one day when I complete my travel bucket list, the Antarctica memories would be among my fondest ones.
